Refund & Cancellation Policy

I understand that sometimes plans change. Here’s how cancellations and refunds are handled:

Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit is non-refundable unless I am unable to perform the ceremony due to unforeseen circumstances.

Cancellations
If you cancel more than 30 days before your scheduled ceremony, no further payment is required.
If you cancel within 7 days of the ceremony, the full balance may be payable depending on the preparation already completed.

Postponements
If your ceremony needs to be rescheduled, I will make every effort to accommodate your new date. Your deposit will be transferred to the new date if I’m available. If not, the deposit will be refunded in full.

My Cancellation
In the unlikely event that I am unable to officiate your ceremony (e.g. illness, emergency), I will:

  • Provide as much notice as possible
  • Help you find a suitable replacement celebrant from my professional network
  • Refund your full deposit and any balance already paid

  2. Unlimited planning meetings to get the tone, details, and structure just right

Looking to get married quickly, legally, and with zero fuss? The Simple option is perfect for couples who want to get the legal part done in a respectful and relaxed setting — no big production required. Think of it as a stylish alternative to the registry office.

What’s included:

  1. All legal paperwork prepared, witnessed, and lodged
  2. A brief ceremony using a pre-written legal script
  3. Standard legal vows (with optional personal vows if desired)
  4. One meeting (face-to-face or online) to plan and sign the Notice of Intended Marriage
  5. Ceremony at your home, mine, or another mutually convenient location
  6. Official Certificate of Marriage (legal copy ordered via Births, Deaths and Marriages if needed)
